Lately, I've been thinking about a lot of stuff. Lot of thinking, but not much blogging about my thoughts...
Anyways, I thought up a concept of the universe, and all its minute/quantum-ish interactions, all being part of (for lack of a better term) one giant machine of some sort. I felt so proud of myself -- I thought it sounded rather ingenious.
...and then I decide to search the web for similar concepts. I punch in "quantum clockwork" into a search engine, and one of the links takes me to a wikipedia page on Isaac Newton's "Clockwork Universe Theory". Of course... I think of something, and it turns out it's already been thought of and published.
Oh well... I'll take comfort in the fact that I came up with it on my own, and (in theory) so did Newton. Does that put me up in Newton's league? Hehe.
