Maybe i'm wrong...
Two things, First I just heard on the radio about this new idea certain people are now banned from flying. Am I wrong in my opinion that if these people are a threat shouldn't we be letting them fly OUT?! Maybe not so much back into our country but we should definately be letting them leave! Also, I could be mistaken in my reading but I thought we were a free country oka, freeish- by dicating who gets to fly and who doesn't...doesn't that sound like...a dicatorship?! Maybe i'm wrong?! Sounds a lot like 'you're jewish/black/female' and we don't want you doing this/that/the other.
Second, Alberta is finding that boys ages 18-24 are getting into fights and causing damage at local bars due to drunkeness, the province is looking at raising the legal drinking age too (wait for it) 19! WHAT is this really going to solve? Right now people between the ages of 16-29 are in the locals bars. Fake id's in toe.
Some bar owners are now requiring three pieces of govmnt issue ID, 2 with a picture. Unless i'm missing something very big I only have 1 piece of id with my picture on it, and a constant warning from the govmnt to leave all your vital's at home to protect against id theift. SO now i'm confused. I bring my drvrs licence to the bar because it has my picture, and I'm driving so i need it.I bring my medical because it is govmnt issued ID and god forbid anything happens to me i have my medical card. When will we just get those computer chips inserted ... it'll be so much easier!
