What do I have in common with the Starbucks across the street from work??

We're both up at 5 am. Gah! So far, I've only found two redeeming qualities to having to be to work at 6 am: getting off at 2:30 pm and the Starbucks being open that damn early. Otherwise, it sucks arse! I should not be seeing that side of 5 am! I remember when I used to go to bed around that time. Gods, those were the days! Back when I worked 12-14 hour days at the airport. I have little to show for that. Hell, the stereo I bought back then with my OT money got left at my old apartment as it didn't work well anymore. Anyway...so, yeah, having to get up at 5 am bites, a lot. I can't go to bed before like 9:30 pm, either, because my back tends to hate that. After about six hours of laying down, I'm in pain. We have yet to figure out why, but I am. Much funness.

Okay, enough bitching about that. Got to talking to some of the fiancee's family the other day about wedding stuffs. One of his cousin's suggested going to a craft store and making my bouquet out of silk flowers. It's cheaper and I get to keep it with out having to dry it. Fan-fucking-tastic! THEN, after asking a friend of mine if she'd like to go with me to pick everything out, she pointed out that Michael's (a craft store) will take returns, regardless of how old they are, as long as they're in the same condition you bought them in AND they have the tags. I wasn't planning on doing flower arrangements, but if we can get the stuff for cheap, and then return it after, I'm all for it!

I also want to welcome my new LJ friends! It's great to have new people to read about, as well as give me more of a reason to update often.
