Sorry for the gap there, I just got kinda lazy all of a sudden. I also had my 1 week weight in and, guess what? No weight lost! Hmm, and I was really cutting back on everything too.

My theory is this: I've also been exercising more, and when you do that, you gain muscle mass, right? Also, my body was all over the place this week, including most likely a few kicks at Starvation Mode stuff, so who knows how its responded. Also part II, I'm really bad at keeping hydrated, and had a big ol' glass of water right before bed, which will all have been retained overnight for my morning weight-in.

So yeah, obviously I'm going to keep going; I got a bit sloppy with the eating towards the end of the week mostly due to boredom, but never broke 2000 kCals (which is about my upper limit for still counting as dieting), generally being lower. I also failed to climd the Pentlands due to lack of sleep and a smudgen of laziness, but I spent like, 2 hours playing frisbee on Sunday, and went all wandering around Arthur's seat again on Saturday.

Bah, we'll see. If it continues to yield no ersults, I'll start looking at alternative approaches. Yes, including a low-carb Atkins-style diet. It does work, it can be healthy, you don't have to eat steak and cheese all the time.
