Yo-Yo!
Been a fun day of watching shareprices bouncing all over the place. Actually no, they were just ddropping and dropping, and all the guys around me who've been investing in the Sharesaver plan were laughing nervously and maybe turning a little grey. Luckily a lot of people just cashed in so they were safe from the farce that is HBOS share prices. Yes, thank you Chief Executive, I know we're a "Strong Bank", you tell us every freaking chance you get. But our shares dropped over 30% today, and the next worse off bank was only at 17%, so how bloody strong can we be?
Yes, shares rallied by the end of the day, but it still makes me think that, really really, now is not a good time to be working for a bank. But the won't even fire me properly! Now they want me to stay and take any crappy little job they can throw at me! G'ah! No monies unless everything completely falls through (though if that does happen its no longer Voluntary and my mortgage insurance triggers, so its even better). Pooh!
Grrr, must get qualification, must get better job. Oh, but I'm so tired of trying.
