I have severely neglected this journal, and by extension, my Friends! In penance - and because I am hungry for some fine wine and yummy food - I offer a rare photo-intensive entry. :P
Barcelona #5: July 2005 (post-exams freedom)
Have no doubt about it: we were there for the sales, and the sales were waiting for our credit cards.
Weary and aching but victorious
But what would Barcelona be to me without its yummy food and yummier sangria?
The meals ranged from extremely cheapo seafood feasts selected from Boqueria Market and lovingly and skillfully prepared by Pam
I nearly died with joy eating my 3 euro home cooked dinner of fresh prawns, pan fried fish and veggies. Especially after exam season. In stupendously expensive England.

Don't forget the wine,
and the tiny little hole in the wall shops that sell random goodies we stumble into.

By the time I was home in London, I felt ill at the site of red Sale! signs. :)
By the time I got home to Singapore, I wondered why I didn't spend more money in London or Barcelona, because shopping isn't cheaper here anymore!
