Remember the people I went to Pagsanjan with? They're holding a "good news" meeting or something this Sunday, wherein they share good news to everyone so as to counter the everyday crap we encounter whenever we open the news papers.
Thought there wasn't anything wrong with that at all, and planned to check it out, until they told me who the speakers were for their "good news" panel.
An "ex-gay" who, apparently, has been happily married for something close to a decade.
Was very offended that they thought this was good news. If the "ex-gay" is indeed happily married, then good for him, good luck being a hypocrite. But to have them tell these impressionable kids that being a homosexual is bad just pisses me off. Blew them off.
But now I feel like I should have agreed and educated the bastards.
