I don't really much care for Valentine's, and even if I did, I had to work yesterday. So it was pretty much me and the lay-out artists staring blissfully into the non-existent heat of the computer screen.
I did manage to find these kick-ass Valentines

Hoax-y McLiarface
90 Day Jane is a lying sack of shit. And stupid, too. You put up a suicide blog declaring you're going to kill yourself in a couple of months and don't expect people to hear about it? What world do you live in?
Gawker commenter Colonel Mustard sums it up quite nicely:
"Hey everybody! Thanks for all of your advice and concern for my well-being, but I was really just making a mockery of the serious mental disease known as clinical depression! I hope you don't know anyone who ever killed themselves, because otherwise you might want to shoot me in the face right now! Well, it's back to brooding and acting like a snobbish, intellectual poseur for me. See you guys at the next Fall Out Boy concert!"

Gawker.

If anyone's interested, there's photos of oversharing couple Joshua David Stein and Emily Gould over at
Home of the Vain.
Nikola Tamindzic is a great photographer, but I have to say that isn't exactly the best shot of Josh's face (not that I can take a better picture). But the body and those lovely, lovely tattoos more than make up for it, yes? For me, at least.

A 67-year old school teacher slips into a coma while enjoying a session at an S&M club. I quote:
"(Richard) Benjamin was taken to the hospital at 1:25 a.m. Friday after he choked and turned blue while wearing a hood and being trussed up in an S&M contraption called "the wheel" at the Nutcracker Suite, a pain palace on East 33rd Street.
The ex-prof, whose hands were bound behind him, had a leather collar around his neck that was attached to a rope secured to a hook on the ceiling.
He was wearing nipple clamps, and his feet were in women's high heels.
Cops said Benjamin began choking when one of his feet slipped out of the tall shoe."
The New York Post ran two articles on it, which you guys can find
here and
here.

Aside from
keanoidd and
no_mere_mortal, I don't think anyone else in my f-list is gay enough to know who
Bryanboy is.
Why do I bring him up then? Because Marc Jacobs just named his new bag after him.
The BB
Gawker has even featured him and granted him commenter privileges. Some people just lead a charmed life.
