This will be my last picture post on Thailand, so I left the best for last.
ELEPHANTS!
The PR people were kind enough to indulge in our request for pachyderm bonding on our last day in Bangkok, hence this adorable set of pictures where I try to smile as I grip the...erm..handlebars. I had this horrible, horrible fear that I would fall off the elephant and be stomped to death.
More pachyderm play, a random hippo, and a little bit of Thai malls under the cut.
Because I have the sense of humor of a 12-year old boy.
Notice the fear displayed in that grip. I could never be one of the Haradrim.
The elephants could tell whether you were giving them money or bananas. No kidding. It amazed the hell out of me.
It's all blurry because you apparently can't take pictures of the merchandise at Bangkok's equivalent of Greenhills.
