Simple Pleasures

Five simple pleasures:

1. Laughing with my best friend. It's always uplifting, and there doesn't have to be any particular reason for it. Not a reason that would make sense to anyone else, anyway. We have our own version of a own secret twin language, complete with hand signals.
   
2. Cuddling with a cat. Cats lurve me. I lurve them.

I guess my list would be
1) Music. One of the things I couldn't be without and would probably kill myself if there wasn't any. Music to dance to, to sing at the top of my lungs to, to just lay back and let it flood over me.

2) Reading. How else to be transported to all those worlds that only your imagination could concieve of.

3) Chocolate... nuff said

4) Sudoku puzzles. I love to be chalenged, and these puzzles are so simple, and so bloody difficult

5) Creating anything. Be it music, pictures, anything. the act I made something is amazing

Sudoku. Aaaah, yes. I lurve logic puzzles, and I'm beginning to lurve sudoku puzzles the same way. Not quite as much, but close.

1. Cheese. Primarily because I cannot believe it didn't make your top 5! Bonus pleasure points for incorporating bread and wine...

2. Kiddens. I loves them. I want to snoogle them til they pop. Unless they are being annoying. Then I do not.

3. Mr. McGee. He makes me smile, even when I don't want to. Which is evil, as I also enjoy being Ms. Cranky-pants an awful lot. But he is silly and it is good.

4. Chocolate. Because it makes me feel good.

5. My mommy. I loves her oodles. A hug with her is still a safe place, even tho I am 28. (I'm just typing like I'm 2 cuz typing hurts my hands today.)

Cheese is less a simple pleasure than an absolutely necessity. Like air and rubber duckies. But, oh, cheese and bread and wine. Mmmmmmmm.

It always makes me happy when I am thinking about someone in particular and the phone rings and it's them, and they were thinking about me too.

That fucking flowery blankie. I still haven't finished it. I looked at it the other day and found yet another mistake. Every single time I look at it, I see a flower with too many petals, or one that's connected to the surrounding flowers by the wrong petals, or something that's just not right. How is this possible? I am convinced I've remade each flower six times over. Ugh.

and they were thinking about me too.

When I get my own apartment. He or she will be an orange stripy kitten. Unless a different sort of kitten claims me first, but in my imagination it's always an orange stripy one.
