Kitchen: Day 3
The plumber managed to fix the bathtub trap. Best part is, it doesn't leak! I'm so happy!
Today they made a lot of progress. The new window is in and it looks great! You can actually see the yard now without standing on your toes and peering. They did a beautiful job. The header and footer looks very sturdy - there is no way the weight of the house will put pressure on the window with all the framing they did.
They completed the plumbing in the basement. We now have all new plumbing where it goes into the basement floor. If there is any blockage, it's under the house or in the yard. Everything else is new.
They punched a hold out the back of the house to make a place for the microwave vent. It looks very clean on the outside. There is a flap to keep the weather out and a screen on the opening to keep critters out. I bet anything will vent much nicer now.
