Title: How Nations Fall In Love
Rating: G
Characters/Pairings: OC!Philippines, England, America, some mentions of other nations; America/OC!Philippines, England/OC!Philippines, miniscule OC!Philippines/Jose Rizal
Summary: Some thoughts about a delicate, hidden, triangular relationship between three Nations.
Notes: This was originally for 1sentence and thus uses a theme set from there; but I decided to use it this way instead. I do not own Hetalia, or Initial D (which was mentioned in one sentence). This is the last part.

26. Ice
He was a sarcastic cynic with a glare that lowered the temperature in the conference room during World Meetings; however, the sight of the Asian nation smiling at her lateness, always make his face melt into a warm smile.

27. Fall
America only realized that he might really love the Philippines when he always seemed to help her whenever she fell.

28. Forgotten
To forgive and forget - that seemed to be her life's creed, as she loved everyone, even the Nations who once tried to control her.

29. Dance
He didn't expect her to come, much less to accept his (trembling) outstretched hand, but that didn't matter to him now, holding his little princess in his arms.

30. Body
It was when he treated her injuries after Ketsana that Alfred realized his little Claire was stronger than any of them, for her little body to endure the bruises covering it.

31. Sacred
What they didn't know was that the wish she made on every altar deemed "miraculous" by her people was either that her people live happier lives or her Kuyas stop fighting over every little thing.

32. Farewells
Saying goodbye to her shores was never easy, especially when they knew that it'd be a long time before they meet again.

33. World
When she was younger and under his care, she always said "One day, I'll be part of your world, Kuya Alfred!", not knowing that for him, she already was the center of it.

34. Formal
Clad in a baro't saya for the next World Meeting, they couldn't find it in themselves to stop staring at Maria.

35. Fever
He knew that it would make her sicker if she ate it, but Arthur still attempted to make her the lugaw she requested.

36. Laugh
The first time she heard her uptight Kuya Arthur laugh, she thought it was one of the best melodies she ever heard.

37. Lies
He only realized that he loved her too much for his own good when he could actually lie about the fact that he loved her to the face of his first love.

38. Forever
There was something about her that made people want to share their eternity with the Philippines.

39. Overwhelmed
The first time he took her to his house, Maria's chocolate eyes widened to take the sight all in and forever commit it to memory.

40. Whisper
Rumors spread that Arthur and Alfred were fighting over the love of a small Nation in the East - not as countries, but as men - yet she could still not find it in herself to believe it.

41. Wait
She waited and waited for someone to save her from her Kuya Antonio, never expecting that somebody would actually come for her.

42. Talk
Unusually silent for a moment, his steely blue gaze focused on her for a moment before saying, in a rather weak voice: "Philippines... do you think you'll still be talking to me like this if I ever said I love you?"

43. Search
After asking her, he searched for the answer in her deep brown eyes, frowning when he knew that she will never say yes.

44. Elope
Sometimes he found himself thinking that maybe he'll just come and take her away for himself - not at England, but as Arthur, just Arthur - but he shakes it off by thinking that if even America can't change her mind, neither could he.

45. Eclipse
His former ward used to be the sun illuminating his world, but when she came and shone her pale light, he knew that things will never be the same.

46. Gravity
He figured that it'd be easier to just let himself fall for her, rather than spend all his extra time denying it.

47. Highway
It was when they were stuck in traffic on a Philippine highway that they found out that their sweet Maria drove like Japan's Fujiwara Takumi.

48. Unknown
"Since he's long gone now, I guess we'll never know if I did love Jose, now won't we?" she said with a little smirk.

49. Lock
Fearing ridicule by the other Nations (read: FRANCE), and anger from the others (read: Spain, America and maybe Japan), he decided to keep his feelings for Maria locked away in his heart, both for her sake and his own.

50. Breathe
It was pretty hard to act normal in front of her when she took their breath away.
