So...

...when you work all day and get things done exactly on time, only to wait an extra two hours because none of the experienced people are working the press and you absolutely have to be there to review the first issues of the newspaper that are made...

...and you finally get done at 1 a.m., marking 10 hours of work whereupon you have about 11 hours until you have to come back...

...and you finally get home at 1:30 a.m., only to find that, mysteriously, all the doors to your home are locked, something that has never happened to you before, and you are forced to call in and wake your parents so they let you in...

...and when you ask why the doors were locked, are told that your parents had felt like making love and forgot to unlock the doors when they were done...

...that's what is called in the business "a long night."
