Something that makes me laugh:
Without fail every single time my dad's cell phone rings, it is greeted with an "OH MAN FUCK OFF" in reply. But he still answers it! HAHAHA. Ah...the joys of having friends and owning a business?

Something that annoys me:
My mother when her double standards emerge. Like today.
The only reason a scene like this annoys me is because WE DO THIS EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. WITHOUT FAIL. AND IT BEGINS TO GRATE ON MY NERVES. I guess on my days off from Uni from now on I will HAVE TO GO INTO UNI, if only to escape this cycle. *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* )

That conversation with your mom sounds like conversations that happen around here between my Dad and my stepdad (also called Dad's useless partner, Taylor...among other things he's been called). *sigh* *hugs*

And your sister's being all controlling and whatnot...wow...

*more hugs and sends you virtual cupcakes along with extra mix*

So... wanna share a house so we can bitch about annoying mothers 24/7?

Haha, I was just talking to a guy about being annoyed enough to want to move out - and I've never lived apart from my parents ever, but it's getting a bit much.

I would die if I moved out of home, I think. Despite my mothers many, many annoying features, she does do a lot for me (like cook) and (mostly) does my washing....haha. I can't afford to move out of home, anyway. :-(?

omg same! And additionally, I get the "OMG LAUREN YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING! I MAY FALL OVER AND DIE OF SHOCK! YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING!" And then I get annoyed because, hello, I do do alot, even if I don't stand around going "DEAR FAMILY, LOOK, I HAVE JUST DONE THE WASHING AND HUNG IT OUT AND CLEANED THIS ROOM AND EMPTIED ALL THE TRASH AND ETC ETC ETC".

Haha, I would have gone and bought it myself, BUT I HAVE NO MONEY.

if i had money i would have gone myself...but i have NOTHING. ZILCH. NADA. I am waiting for payday tomorrow.....

Besides, all that stuff is stuff that comes in the weekly shopping. And if someone in my family doesn't FORCE my mother to go shopping....she sits around and procrastinates and just DOES NOT GO then we don't have food for the week. :-(.

man i hate it when there is no food in the house. it is possibly the worst thing that can happen. and i can't believe your sister rings you to tell you what to wear and how to behave. if anyone tried that on me i would not be pleased. i am lucky thought that the shops are right next door. just my lack of funds that gets in the way.

I just laugh at her now. Because she doesn't think there is anything wrong with telling her family how to dress/act/speak, etc. She really doesn't! It's like it never occurs to her that it is impolite and demeaning. It's one of her many traits that used to make me cry in primary school that now I just sit back and laugh at her.
