(no subject)
Does anyone know anything about vision? Because, I am confused.
So I went to the optomatrist (optometrist? optomitrist? SOMETHING!) this evening after about 3 years of not having gone. I have really, really shitty eyesight. I know this. The world is a blur to me without my glasses. I am short sighted. Except....I do not understand the numbers of my eyesight. I am -2 in each eye, and then about 0.50 in my right, and 0.25 (astigmatism) in the left. So...I understand the astigmatism numbers. But! -2?
I asked what this meant in regards to people having 20/20 vision or whatever, and apparently I have better than 20/20 vision. I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND HERE.
I will, y'know, go google it or something. And then continue to be frustrated.
ALSO! You know what really frustrates me? I do not understand how billboard -size posters or made, or just even big ones. It doesn't make sense. Surely there are no HUGE garage sized printers out there? And it doesn't look like they are pieces of paper stuck together to make a huge poster. It frustrates me that I don't know
