I routinely dream. And my dreams are usually some kind of epic adventures that take me into battle or in hiding or similar. What intrigues me is when I dream of shows I watch, when the two merge of my main life and the fictional world. The most intense one was a CSI dream that someone being murdered where I (used) to work and the controller saved money if we could solve it "in house" instead of asking the police to do it. Because I was in IT, I was the logical person to look into it. The dream was long and I used forensics and classic detective tricks to trip up the murderer who was a very real co-worker of mine (weird I would dream he was a murderer).
Last night I had an intense dream of Survivor, a show I've only been ho hum about this season. This dream had me on the show for a week but Probst told me I could begin going home to sleep at night as they had enough "night" footage of me. Apparently Survivor was being filled in the exotic location of my city, right on the banks of the Miss river. Probst told me that they would CGI in the ocean and exotic locations later. What bothered me was after spending a week with the other contestants (who were all from California), I was surprised to find out they thought we were at some island location. I would point out the city bridge down the river and they thought local tribes and they shrugged. When I pointed to the flat Arkansas land over there, they simply thought that was the desolate place of redemption island.
Not sure why I'm blogging on this except maybe now I'm beginning to wonder if the contestants really are going to these locations after all.
