Please, please let 2007 be a better year than 2006.
2006 Year In Review
1.) Where did you ring in 2006?
At my old apartment in DC.
2.) What was your status by Valentines Day?
In a relationship.
3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
No.
4.) How did you earn your keep?
Government contractor in IT.
5.) Did you have to go to the hospital?
No, although my health has been pretty poor.
6.) Did you encounter the police?
Nope.
7.) Where did you go on vacation?
I went "on vacation" to the Poconos. But I worked every day but July 4th in the local library, and it wasn't so great beyond that.
8.) What did you purchase that was over $500?
Vet bills.
9.) Did you know anybody who got married?
Yes, I was the Maid of Honor in Erin's wedding.
10.) Do you know anybody who passed away?
Eddie the horse.
11.) Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with?
Well, not anyone I wasn't still friends with anyway. Saw lots of people at Erin's wedding.
12.) Did you move anywhere?
Yes. Twice. Once to Arlington in January, and once to Rockville in August. I am tired of moving...I swore I wouldn't move again for a couple of years, but unless my stupid neighbors move out first, I guess I'll be moving again next August.
13.) What sporting events did you go to?
A few Nationals games, a Capitals game, a couple of trips to the racetrack, and countless horse shows.
14.) What concerts did you go to?
None.
15.) Are you registered to vote?
Yes.
16.) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov. 7?
No...don't live in DC anymore.
17.) Where do you live now?
Rockville, MD
18.) Describe your birthday.
Not particularly good...didn't do much of anything. I gave Sonic a birthday hug, so that was good.
19.) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
I have way too many things to list to answer this one.
20.) What is one thing you regretted this year?
Not starting Sonic with a pro even sooner than I did.
21.) What's something you learned about yourself?
That I am a bit too trusting, and too idealistic. And that maybe I am not quite as resiliant as I thought I was.
22.) Any new additions to your family?
Nope.
23.) What was your best month?
I'm not sure. There were good parts and bad parts to every single one of them. I would say November, because for most of the month, I truly believed things would work out, so I was a little blinded. And Sonic and I finally made a couple of things work, and I saw a ton of my friends.
24.) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by?
I'm so oblivious to pop culture. :(
