winter.
snowing, and I've been ravenous! someone told me that this compulsion to stuff my gob is called 'putting on the winter plumpies'.
...as though I need an extra reason to go for capoeira - after nearly 3 weeks of tabulating my expenditure, it comes as no surprise that nearly half of my allowance is going into classes/tube fare to fulham. my left little finger is now quite swollen from the berimbau. I suspect that in a couple of years it will probably calcify into a grotesque hook. oh yes, just the way I like my fingers.
speaking of fingers, they turn into ICICLES in the cold. last night at holborn, while dishing out the halva, I hadn't any gloves on!! my cycling gloves are arriving via post, but I'll probably have to invest in some proper ones to avoid looking like an idiot (or less of an idiot than I already do).
received my Knowledge and Reality essay back from marking, and the TA typed out a full 2 page commentary for everyone O.O I like this guy. anyway, I'm quite pleased with the appraisal :) :) it gives one the (perhaps false) hope that one can get by without doing much studying at all... which leaves more time for my growing expanse of extra-curricular activities.
there're plenty of articles floating about the Internet on the UCL student occupation (though I've chosen to remain decidedly apolitical while in London, for obvious reasons), and apparently the school's going to take legal action soon :s meh.
