Pigging Out With Pam - the return!

Those weekly POWP reports were starting to feel like a chore, so I haven't been doing them.  But that doesn't mean I can't post occasional thoughts on remarkable restaurants I've visited recently.

Today Jeff & I played hooky from work took a vacation day and ate at Casa de Luz.  It's a vegan, macrobiotic, organic, totally healthy place.  They charge $12 per person which includes tax and tip.  And there's one menu for the meal.  You get your own drinks, soup and salad from the buffet, and they bring you the rest.  Today's menu was Garden Salad w/ Raspberry Basil Dressing, Creamy Sweet Potato w/ Coconut Soup, Medium Grain Brown Rice w/ Quinoa, Green Lentils w/ Carrots & Onions,Sauteed carrots, onions, cabbage, zucchini, and corn, Casamade Sauerkraut, and Arame & Jijiki Rolls.

You can have seconds of anything you want so  I had a second bowl of soup and another roll.  The seating is mostly family style, although they have a few smaller tables.  And you bus your own table at the end.  The food was delicious and healthy and I was stuffed when I left.

We tried this place because it was conveniently located near Jack & Adams, where we went to fix my bike computer, which I broke.
