Life or something like it....
So, stuff has been kinda hectic here lately (hence no update for pushing four months). Okay, *hangs head* I'm horrid at keeping these things going. But, hopefully I will try and be better, though my life is not very interesting at all. Christmas was good, very good actually, since I had a stipend check come in from school which is about 10 times what I thought it was going to be, so I could do a little bit for everyone this year.
Master got a new laptop for his birthday, we gave it to him early. He loves it, and now has a working computer of his own, that will let him do what he needs it to. I got myself a psp, and some games and movies for it, gonna get some more games soon, and probably going to get some new clothes. Things are going pretty good right now.
I will NEVER again volunteer to work a weekend at work, holy crap. I worked an eight hr shift yesterday, through lunch rush, through dinner rush and NEVER again will I work weekends. I was in bed and asleep before nine o'clock and I got off at eight, got home at eight thirty, and was dead to the world twenty to thirty minutes later.
Anyway, the kids made out like bandits, it was fun and very loud Christmas morning (because the lil bit got both a harmonica and a pair of electronic drumsticks). The boy got guitar hero Aerosmith for the ps2 (once we finally freakin found it). Several DS games, and a pair of moon shoes. Oh, the lil bit also got an easy bake oven! Weee!!! Also, she got a cook book.
Okay, its official I'm going to kill someone's car alarm. Freakin garbage truck set off someone's car alarm and it is only quarter after seven in the morning, come on now. On trash day, if you have an uber sensitive car alarm, do not leave your car parked near the edge of the road PLEASE?!
Oh, I've also been fighting a cold...joyous. It never fails, I'm always sick during christmas no matter how well I'm feeling the week or two before, I am ALWAYS sick during christmas.
We have company in, it is part of the reason that I am currently up and not still sleeping (since I don't have to be to work until noon). I got up to go potty at 630, and when I went back into the bedroom he'd taken over the bed ><; much to my annoyance since I'd planned on not getting up until like eight or something, but that's okay. Will make myself some food here in a minute and all will be super fantastic! *G*
Anyway, scampering off now. I think that's enough from my boring life!
