Season 7 thoughs
I've already watched 24 S7. After seven days o seasons it's hard to surprise to the audience, we all know that and despite of a boring season finale and other things that I didn´t like, I've had good feelings with this Season. I didn´t feel this way after Season 6.

I was kinda laughing about how the bad guys just kept dying to reveal more bad guys, and that got pretty convoluted. you know? But upon further reflection, I realized that was the POINT of the season. (which is pretty stupid) It was supose to be us kinda taking the journey with Tony in peeling back the layers, only Tony is not the main character and we, as viewers, had no real idea that is what was going on in the first place.
The entire time anything was going on (pretty much after the Juma stuff was done) I was just like "am I suppose to....care?" I just didn't care at all. I heard that Renee Walker is coming back for next season so that makes me happy.
It sucks that Olivia Tayler is out the picture, she was fun times. I liked her. I also didn't like how the first female president gets introduced only to have her family life completely destroyed (b/c you know, women apparently can't find a balance there, especially not in 24 world)
I might try and watch it next year. I want to do a sort of game where you get a group of people and everyone puts up five or ten dollars, and they all pick a character (except Jack) and you just try and see if your person makes it to the finale. (I think people like Rene Walker, Chloe, Bill, a president...should cost double b/c they are less likely to die than others.) If you get the feeling they might die or be killed, you can change characters, but you have to put in another five dollars and you can only do it BEFORE they die. So like, if you picked the presidents Husband, you would have been good to go. If you picked the dead sons ex-girlfriend, then you would have needed to switch over to Olivia or someone before she got killed. Then, the people who still have characters left by the finale win the money.

LOL, I laugh too because of that. But I think there is a reason. I remember that 24 was very critized during Season 4 of giving a bad image about Arabian people, of making them always the bad guys. And after that, Season 5, 6 and 7 have had another kind of bad guys: russians, african and mainly american. And since S5 during the seasons there are a lot of bad guys until get to the most important, that is was always american.
Anyway, I think the point of this season has been the torture. FBI doesn´t trust in Bauer because of it, but little by little, Renee is realizing that is the best way to get the bad guy. Can't wait to see her again next season and see what she become in.
About the President, with Palmer was the same... his family was destroyed too. You know, writers love to dramatize.
And I want to play to that game... who will die?? LOL
