Season 7 thoughs

I've already watched 24 S7. After seven days o seasons it's hard to surprise to the audience, we all know that and despite of a boring season finale and other things that I didn´t like, I've had good feelings with this Season. I didn´t feel this way after Season 6.

First of all, the new things have been positive: the new city, new president, new agency, new people in charge, etc. I loved some of the new characters, mainly Renee Walker. 24 needed a real heroine and her chemistry with Bauer has been great. I love that pair. The new President, Allison Taylor. was awesome too. A profile similar to David Palmer, but her family trouble didn´t like me. Henry and Olivia Taylor plots were stupid. However, I really liked Ethan Kannin, the best chief of stuff of the entire series so far.

And as I said the other day...the same topics and hackneyed subject as alway. And since Season 5, once you get the bad guy, appears another one much more important...and then another one...until get the 24 hours. But this season hasn´t been so cheated like others until we find out that Tony is again one of the bad guys. Is he a double agent? triple? quadruple? no, he actually works on his own, doing whatever he need to get the man who was behind Michelle's death. He just was seeking for vengeance.I didn´t like this Tony's game... is he really needed to do that to get his target? The funny thing is that I remember Season 5 and 6 and the people who used President Logan was leaded by Jack Bauer's brother and father and they were killed in Season 6. Who the frak was this Mr. Wilson? I don´t get it, really.

And the finale was a little boring, there was more intrigue in the middle of the Season when Juma got The White House, for example. And all we knew that Jack could die, so I don´t know if that was a cliffhanger but it was a little boring with Kim helping his father, Renee interrogating Mr. Wilson and family Taylor falling apart.

And I felt sad when Bill Buchanan died, I really loved him. The same to Larry Moss' death. But the good thing is that I want to watch next Season, I hadn´t this feeling when Season 6 ended. Season 8 is already on and we know that the 8th Day will happen in New York City.

See you next year, Jack Bauer.
