Minho trails into the room with a book in his hand, eyes weary. He really wanted to get away from all the cameras in the SHINee dorm this week; he needed some time for himself. He curls up into a warm ball in the corner of the room, turns to where he marked the last page and began to read.
He doesn’t get further than the other page when the door bursts open, all his hyungs running in through the door. Minho looks up and realizes that this is the living room. He mentally headdesks as Onew and Jonghyun set up the karaoke machine. And then in walks in Key, in all his shiny glory.
They start up with Replay and Minho watches on in calm amusement as his hyungs bounce around the small room, now cramped with the cameras that he had wanted to avoid in the first place.
Then, after the boys are all covered in a slight gleam of sweat, they switch to SNSD’s Gee. And then, Minho just sits there, in shock and awe at how… gay his hyungs are.
Onew manages to trip on air as he switches places with Jonghyun, who is doing one of their moves a bit too perfectly. But Minho’s gaze is stuck on Key, who moves his hips as sinfully as the girls in the actual video and Minho curses his management for making their image with tight pants in mind because there is a visible tent appearing there.
Minho gulps and pulls his book over the tent, complete with a campfire, in his pants. He waits and watches Key, with his glittery lip gloss and skin-tight jeans and realises that the temperature in the room has just risen about 25 degrees higher. Because Key made the place hot. Made him go ‘gee gee gee’. Because that’s exactly what he was mumbling along with as the song was coming to an end.
Key glances at him and motions for him to come dance with them. But Minho politely declines with a proper smile on his face. But his mind was thinking thoughts far from anything proper as Key gave one of the most sinful body waves since he joined SHINee. Minho bites his lip and slinks further back into the couch, thankful that the corner is darker than the rest of the room. The darkness masks the beads of sweat rolling off his forehead.
As the song finishes, his pants are fit to burst. He gets up quickly, wincing from the tightness and grabs Key’s hand, some of the Onew Sangtae rubbing off on him as he trips on a cord that isn’t even there, hasty to pull Key into their dorm and lock the door. Minho can't even describe how anxious he was to show him how well he knew that dance too.
