How to go from :





I know, A LOT of steps,
but it's really worth it.(;

Also, I recommend that you create a Photoshop "Action" if you are planning to use this over and over again.

Step 1

Duplicate your base.
Set it either to "Screen" or "Softlight" at 60%, depending on your image.

Step 2

Make a new Curves layer.
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves

Output: 60
Input: 44

Step 3

Add a selective coloring layer.
Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Coloring...

Put in the following:

REDS
-100, 80, 33, 50

WHITES
-50, -48, 18, 5

NEUTRALS
20, 22, 10, 10

Step 4

Make another curves layer.

RGB
Output: 121
Input:125

RED
Point 1
Output: 53
Input: 94

Point 2
Output: 177
Input: 195

BLUE
Point 1
Output: 78
Input: 73

Point 2
Output: 171
Input: 178

Point 3
Output: 185
Input: 203

Step 5

Make another selective layer.

REDS
40, 0, 22, -17

WHITES
40, 99, 0, -35

NEUTRALS
15, 0, -2, 15

Step 6

Make a Channel Mixer Layer.

RED
85, 5, -4

Step 7

Create a new fill layer.
Fill it with
#061b44.
Set it to "Exclusion" at 60%.
