Greetings! Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, or at least survived them. I am enjoying that the holidays are done. Looking forward to a new year with good changes and progress.
Holidays are always a bit tiring for me - all those darn relatives. Mom's side of the family, Dad's side of the family, immediate family - a whole lotta family to squeeze into a 48 hour period. Sadly by the end we're all tired and usually grumpy. Loads of fun I dare say.
Spent New Years on my own, puttering about the house, giving Georgie boy some belly loving which was nice.George thought so too :D Last year there was too much drama. I'm getting older and like to keep the stupid crap to a minimum. Hence my choosing to spend it on my own. New Years Day I slept and poofed about the house. Again very nice.
And now I am wondering what sort of year this will be... who will be able to sucker the people into electing him/her into president of this bizarre country? Will I be laid off by AT&T? Will I care if I'm laid off by those crack heads? That one I can answer: no. What work will I be able to get done on the house? What will the name of my niece due to be born February 22? Will she like me? Will my 2 1/2 years old nephew be amused or chagrined that he is no longer in the spot light on his own? Will someone discover a new way to make guacamole? What ridiculous scandals will break out as an excuse for news to gain our attention from news worthy and serious issues? Will the Thai place down the way stay in business? (Hope so they're pretty good.) Will I ever find my missing socks?
O the questions doth run 'round my brain. Now I am dizzieth from such ponderingseth ;D
Again hope everyone out there is well and in good spirits.
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!
