The Winners
A while back I posted an entry in which I said I'd give a prize to whomever could explain what Female, Fat, Forty, Fertile, and Flatulent, referred to. christa7 correctly answered with Gallbladder disease, and felixamatrix had the most imaginative non-correct answer which I still don't quite understand.
Anyway, some time went by and then christa7 asked "what about that prize?" And I had to do some thinking because, let's face it, it's not like the stakes had been real high, so even the price of postage would be a little overkill, in my opinion. And besides the contest was basically a non-contest of a useless nature which was little more than an excuse to make sure people were paying attention to me, me, me, me, and so on. So it should follow that the prize itself should be similarly a non-prize of a useless nature and it would serve the purpose of continuing to put my banal existence at the foremost of all my peers' thoughts.
right?
So here's what I decided. For Christa and Felix, you have a choice. You can a) write a poem or lyrics and I will make it into a song, which I'll record for you and give you full licensing rights, and full access to any of the profits you are able to make from it, or b) you give me a song (within reason) that you would like me to set new lyrics to, on a topic of your choice (within reason). The end result of either will be posted on this journal, though it's not like I'm giving myself a deadline.
(in other news, M and I went to a great show tonight: we saw the Prince Myshkins, with Charlie King, and it was awesome and to top it off we ended up having dinner with them afterwards! more on that later...)
