Sick...ugh
Quick update just to let you know that while I am very sick, I am mostly definitely still alive.
Our GC is back on the job. He has agreed to fix everything we wanted. Tuesday we settle on a deadline. If he doesn't made it, we hand the whole mess over to our attorney who will pursue both civil and criminal action (theft by deception).
And in the meantime, we have radiant heat!!! He hooked up the radiant heat, and it works fine. It's wonderful! Heavenly! The tiles are warm!
So we have hope again for the kitchen (though we're not stupid enough to actually believe everything he says). And everything he finishes is one less thing we'd have to pay someone else to do.
In the meantime, I'm fighting a 103-degree temp and coughing my lungs inside out. Think I'll crawl back into my cave and lick my wounds.
