Dear John McCain.

I'm a veteran. If you think that veterans "love" you, you are wrong. As a veteran, I don't think you will "take care of" me. I don't think you will "take care of" our military. You said you were proud of your record on veterans affairs.

How about the GI Bill? You opposed it and didn't even bother showing up to vote on it.

Oh, I should add that I am not a McCain supporter. :) I live in the UK (married to a British man), recently acquired dual citizenship (born in the US, lived there until I was 39, and I'm in my ninth year of living and teaching in the UK -- I teach English to the English :) and I've voted in all US federal elections via postal ballot (out of Colorado) since I moved here. I'm expecting my postal ballot to arrive in the next week or two. The debate was aired here live, but since it was on at 2am, we recorded it and watched it later.
