All Hail The Prophet Chuck! ... no, really...
Er... I'm catching up on my Supernatural season 4. And I just watched ep 17. With Chuck.
Now, first of all... the idea of a writer writing themselves into their own book? Been done before. By Stephen King, no less. And a writer being confronted by their own characters? King again, also the movie Stranger Than Fiction. And, if you believe him, Alan Moore says he met John Constantine in a restaurant once, which is a little spooky. But anyway....
Chuck... is quite awesome, really.
Also, I think I want to marry Castiel at this point, just for being awesome. *shrug*
EDIT: as I've now seen 4x20... what with Cas being an angel and all, I'd also probably marry Jimmy, too. Because he's even more awesome, and I didn't know that was possible.
Slightly related point:
A fic I wrote for a comment_fic prompt has slightly taken over my brain, and I've now got a Supernatural/BtVS crossover in the works. At the moment it's probably going to follow S4 plotwise, only with added BtVS. And Dawn. Definitely Dawn.
