One day, a few years ago, the image of a woman with a beautiful, contagiously happy smile and a wonderful way with words appeared on my livejournal friends list. Last night's attempt to create the perfect fava bean soup was successful! And I, like great chefs before me, improvised! daphnep and Dan enjoyed it with me and then we challenged each other to a few rounds of pinball with whafford, who somehow managed to not scoff at our comparatively low scores.
