Three months ago we planted some seedlings and seeds in the square foot garden. Yesterday I was finally able to pull some radishes and carrots. Not too much happening with the gardens this week. I was watering the strawberries and blueberry bush by hand every day, but discovered the blueberry bush in particular was drying out very quickly. I've been watering with the sprinkler the past couple of days and it seems to be doing better. The good news is I spotted some new growth on all of ( Read more... )

The gardening season is well underway at our home. The "spring garden" (100 bulbs from Brecks I planted last fall) turned out well and was worth the long winter wait.
