Chiarra the sniper bat, from the comic I keep putting off writing. I realized partway through that, because she has wing membranes attached to her torso, she can't wear a shirt. So… yeah. Despite having a name she's not an actual character, or at least not yet. She's a soldier of Ekhis, a mutant animal cult which carries out acts of genetic terrorism against civilized society. She uses echolocation to find targets, which allows her to shoot in darkness or under smoke cover, a strong advantage in the wasteland where radiation from the fallen alien ark defeats night vision and other electrical devices. I don't know if she's actually blind or she just wears a blindfold to avoid distractions.
I think I need to simplify if I'm going to mass-produce these things in comic format. And I should get an actual scanner.
