The first thing Raven did upon waking in a strange room was check the door. It wasn't locked, and led into an unfamiliar hallway, but at least she wasn't entirely trapped. She didn't know how she'd ended up here, but she was determined to find out.
A search of the room revealed several strange things (and a startling lack of clothing options -- the closet contained little more than variations on black dresses, black skirts, and black shirts). She had no idea what the laptop could possibly be, but fiddling with the small, flat, black rectangle with the glass screen revealed a button that made its face light up with the date and time, as well as a puzzle piece with a lock upon it. She touched the image and it moved, so she slid it into the place it seemed to belong. This made the object show her many more options, including "camera," "mail," "phone," and "messaging."
Curious, she touched the messaging icon. Now she could see names and words appear. The last seemed be be from someone named "Kennedy" (not the president, however, since the picture was of a girl), and included the words "God, Raven!" So whomever owned this was named Raven as well?
She fiddled with the object for awhile longer, amazed by the technology, though not understanding most of it. What was this "Amazon Kindle"? "Google Sky"? She figured out how to make the screen change by swiping her finger across it and discovered pictures on the screen as well, all of people she didn't recognize. There was one dark-haired girl, however, that she was beginning to suspect was this other Raven, since she was generally wearing all black.
Deciding to go exploring, she shifted out of her true appearance before moving out into the hall. She wasn't going to endanger herself, not knowing where she was or how she got there or where Erik was.
