Info below that I lifted from the lovely singer of Sensuous Enemy, known also as mistressmarla on here and often referred to by me as my Best half!
MAMA, Inc. has created and presents the annual Madison Area Music Awards ceremony, with the purpose of (1) raising public awareness of the need to preserve and support the existence of music education in our public schools and other community institutions, (2) encourage and promote the advancement of musicians and others in the Madison area by recognizing their musical achievements as well as the achievements of outstanding music students and music educators, and (3) provide promotional support for the Madison music economy as a whole. MAMA, Inc. seeks to establish three other annual events to further carry out its charitable mission and to keep the awareness of the need for music education in the public eye year-round.

1st Round - Best Female Vocalist and Artist of the Year (Feb 5 - March 20th)
2nd Round - Best Electronic Album, and Best Electronic Song (March 28th - April 28th)

Helpful Voting Info:
1.http://www.themamas.org/registervote.php is the site where you login to vote.
2. It will ask for an email address when you register--if you've voted before with an email address, it will note that and ask you to login using that account info from last year. It, UNFORTUNATELY, does not have an easy way of sending you your password, for some reason, but customer service is on the phones, so the answering machine told me, from 11am to 3pm today.
3. Once you are through all the payment stuff, it will take you to the voting categories--Sensuous Enemy is in "Artist of the Year" up near the top and in Best Female Vocalist in the middle.
4. Other awesome personages--such as Dr. Ryan Parks are in best radio personality, djwhiterabbit are in best DJ, and Club Inferno, High Noon Saloon, and the Frequency are also in a category.
5. After you've gone through all the categories you want--you don't have to do all--you need to scroll down on the right hand side to submit your votes--it then takes you to a second screen where you have to make your final vote submission confirmation--be sure to do that!
