I don't know which piece of writing this is from.  I found it in a footnote in _Autobiography of a Yogi_, which I am currently reading, and it only lists that it is by Emerson.  I'm assuming he means Ralph Waldo Emerson.  If anyone knows exactly where this quotation is taken from, I'd love to find out ( Read more... )
