I am loving the Peter Petrelli dreams I've been having lately. At least one a month! xD
No no, I'm not addicted to Heroes. *innocent*
The dream was kind of weird at first, because I was walking with Peter and Mama-Petrelli around some sort of park in New York City. Obviously this had to be AU, because they were talking about Nathan and how Angela didn't trust him anymore. Peter kept trying to persuade her to just talk to him and eventually she consented. I agreed to be around for the talk, since Angela wanted back-up in case things went wrong. (Apparently she was worried Nathan would turn on us. No clue why.)
So next thing I know we're walking around the park again, this time with Nathan. Angela's got me and Peter walking behind them, just in case Nathan tries to make a run for it. They're arguing, Peter's trying to get them to calm down, and finally I get fed up with all of them and tell them off for how absolutely dysfunctional they've let their family get. Angela's shocked that I would say something like that to her, but eventually they agree that they have a lot of issues to get over.
Skip forward again, and this time I'm with MY mom and we're walking into this really nice hotel in New York City. We head for the elevators to go up to our room, but as soon as we get in my mom gets out saying she needs to make a phone call. I sit back in the elevator, listening to people as they pile in and thinking about how we're supposed to be meeting up with the Petrellis. Then I hear someone talking about a funeral that's being held at the hotel the next week, though no one can figure out who it's for. Something clicks in my head and I realize the funeral is connected to what my mom and Angela have been investigating. (No clue what that was.)
So I get out of the elevator to find my mom, but get dragged into a sort of ballroom off to one side of the lobby by a bunch of crazy women who are set on getting me to participate in some sort of debutante ball they're organizing. (Huh? The heck did that come from?) They laugh at my protests and tell me to at least imagine what it would be like for a minute. To get them off my back, I do imagine it. And then I imagine it with Peter and get this smile on my face which only makes them happier and more eager to talk me into participating. I start looking around the ballroom and notice this wall that's made entirely out of stained glass. As I look at it more closely, I realize that it's based off a series of paintings by Issac. Before I can think of why, one of the ladies says she's found two wonderful options for my date to the debutante ball. I look up to see Nathan and Peter walk towards the elevators with Angela. So I tell the lady that only one of them is a wonderful option.
I head out to catch up to them, but the elevator door closes before I can get close enough. I walk over to the line forming in front of the other elevator (for a high class hotel, the elevator service sucks) and wait to go up. The elevators are the clear glass type and I catch Peter's eye and wave as they go up to our rooms on the fourth floor. Except Peter gets off at the second floor and goes to wait for me by the other elevator.
Skip forward even farther, and there's a bunch of us sitting around a hotel room. Me, Peter, Nathan, Elle, and some guy like Pyro off the X-Men movies. (xD Mixing the fandoms, it's what it's all about.) Elle's all over Pyro-man, who's telling us about these visions he's been seeing about the end of the world. We're all a little skeptical, except Elle who's convinced he's right.
Another fast forward and we're all headed down to the lobby wearing uniforms from some private school. Apparently it's been decided that we need to go "undercover" at this school, looking for something in connection to what Angela and my mom are still investigating. (Still don't know what it was.) There's a subway station below the hotel, so we go down there to get tickets and go to this school. Elle's complaining about something or other, Nathan's pretty much ignoring her and everyone else, Pyro-man has been replaced by Colossus, and Peter and I are supposed to be acting like a couple so we're holding hands. Obviously I don't mind, and it doesn't seem like Peter does either because he keeps putting and arm around me to keep me closer to him. (Sneaky sneaky.)
Then I wake up. xP Hate that part.
Now I kind of want to write a fic off this dream. xD
