I realized this today, as I was thinking about this cute boy. He probably knows more about me than I know about him, because every time we talk I tend to monopolize the conversation.
That NEVER happens.
I'm more of a listener than a talker when it comes to conversations and interacting with people. The better I know someone, the more even it is. But I don't know him very well and all I do is sit there and chat him up.
And it's kind of nice. Because I'm such a listener, it's not too common that someone is a listener for me. It's nice to have someone who will listen and comment on what I say, so I know they've been listening.
It's something very different in my life, and I'm liking it. But I really need to make more of an effort to let him talk, too.
