Riding, Billards, Darts and Cake
The weekend started off quite nicely.
cam_ray and I headed to the mall for a little shopping happy hour. Then we headed to Rio Grande Mexican Restaraunt for the real Happy Hour. We walked to Cedar Door afterwards and then ended up at Amy's Ice Cream for free ice cream, since my friend Shannon lost the bet. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmmmm
Saturday morning, Laurie and I met up for a 4 hour ride. We ended up squeezing almost 65 miles in. I wanted to go for a run afterwards, but I had to get moving and get myself to my parent's. They were making dinner for my sister's birthday. I ran through the shower, threw some clothes on and put some extra clothes in my bag, made a bottle of endurox and I was on my way.
Dinner was delicious and afterwards we all went to the local bar (which one of my cousins owns). We played pool and darts and just kicked backed and relaxed. I got my butt kicked in darts, but was able to make an awesome shot to with the game of pool. It was fun to just hang out with everyone.
I spent Sunday with the family as well. I went to church, then to breakfast at my granny's, and then went to Auto Zone to buy brake pads for my truck. It was time to change them out and we were going to do it at my grandma's. After my dad and uncle changed the pads, my brother took my truck to the car wash. I have a very clean truck (until it rains again).
When I finally got back to Austin, I met up with tennis boy and we went to Sunday night happy hour at Eddie V's. Mmmm Mmm Mmmm!!! It was a great evening and the perfect way to finish off the weekend.
