Dobryn can think of few places he'd rather not be than this-or, well, at least few places he'd rather not be wasting his time in-but it seems that every way out he can find has been completely barred. Perhaps it wouldn't take much effort for him to fix that, whether by a shot from the pistol concealed under his cloak or a projection from his umbra, but with the number of people around... No, that wouldn't do. It's bad enough that he has no idea where he is or how he had gotten here, and he certainly doesn't need to make those circumstances any worse.
What else is there for him to do?
You should enjoy yourself! It's not every day you get to see a zoo like this, you know.
Fine. He isn't sure if he can legitimately enjoy anything here, but he can at least while away his time looking through the exhibits until an opportunity for escape presents itself.]
[Unfortunately for Dobryn, Mikael isn't one of those opportunities.
He's a skittish kid, looking completely confused as to where he is, or even how the hell he got here in the first place. Add that his entire self looks partially terrified, and you've got one recipe for a fraidy cat.
He'll just be... walking along now. And bumping into Dobryn as he tries to find where he is and not panic at the same time.]
Ah- [He catches his balance, gripping the boy by the shoulders as he does so, and gives him a warm smile as he speaks with an easy tone.] Easy, there. You may want to watch where you're going.
[Mikael nearly squeaks in surprise, jumping a little when he hears the voice talking to him. Of course, he tries to calm down, and... that is a lot easier said than done.]
R-Right. Sorry. I'm... not supposed to be here.
[A pause as he sighs and slumps a little, easing back out of being so terrified. And he whirls a little, keeping an eye on everything around him.]
[And Rei? He's just strolling along - no fear, no 'wtf is this shit' about wild animals running free - hell, a few of them even move out of his way when he walks past them.
Though at the moment, he's half lost in thought, and seems to be wandering toward the wolf exhibit. Bother?]
[Harper is wandering around the zoo, her sableye on her shoulder. The rest of her monsters are safe in their Pokéballs; she isn't quite sure how they'd react to these things and she doesn't want to find out. ]
Tch! These are the weirdest Pokémon I've ever seen! I wonder what's keeping them from running off.
[Mysari's looking around, seeing if anything from her world is here. When she hears the word 'Pokemon,' however, she turns, because that's what Dawn has, right?]
[Vanille has never been to a zoo before and so she's sort of overwhelmed by it all, looking for the Chocobos.
They have to have them around here somewhere right? Right?
But she catches sight of this woman and whatever expression that's supposed to be on her face and heads over, bright smile gracing her own features as she looks at her, then at one of the cages and back again.]
[ She turns to look at the girl, eyeing her up and down and noting the...special outfit she has on. After a long silence, she speaks in a thick Spanish accent; ]
[Oooh, exotic. She likes that accent, you should continue to say all the words to her mysterious lady.]
It's called a zoo - they have lots of different animals here and houses with reptiles and amphibians and birds. I didn't even know half these things existed!
[It's just a zoo - no crazy Nazi vampires or anything of the sort. But the fact that she knows she's not back there, fighting alongside Alucard and the others -]
Oh god.
[It's definitely not one of Zorin's illusions, the fact that she kinda ground her face into a bloody pulp sort of was a pretty good indicator of the fact.
She still wasn't sure what exactly was the extent of her abilities considering how long it was since then, but - She's got a long-sleeved sweatshirt and gloves on just to be safe. She preferred not freaking people out with her shadow-arm, and was secretly thankful that today was slightly overcast.]
Aaaaaagh, I can't mope around like this! I just ... have to think of this as a vacation, that's all.
[She shakes her head as she sits on a nearby bench, letting out an exhale.]
Boaz is already a little suspicious of this place. The grandeur and opulent surroundings already proving to him that he's no longer in California. He's put off by the location change but keeps wandering around the zoo, headed for the reptile cage because he's a reptile sort of guy and because he already visited the big cats.
Naturally, he's on guard and that helps because otherwise he wouldn't have noticed Seras looking as glum as she did. Maybe she was as unfortunate as he was right now and was new here too. He could ask her if she knew anything.
[She snapped her head up at the voice, blinking a few times and possibly letting out a surprised squeak as well. Yup, totally caught off-guard in comparison. Good job, Seras. Good job. You are damn lucky Alucard isn't here or even Integra, for that matter.]
Oh, um ... Hi. N-nice day, isn't it? [She let out a nervous chuckle after the statement, scratching her cheek absently.]
"Yeah if you could take this place at face value," he absently shrugs a shoulder. He's enjoyed perusing and viewing all the animals but that's as far as it went. He's actually surprised he hasn't come across any weird mythical creatures. "Are you alright? You look like an extra in a B horror film."
