Last night, during the 3rd debate between Obama and McCain, I got this text message from a friend:My Obama friends, can somebody tell me who "Joe the plumber" is and how he is making over two fiddy grand a year cause he is gonna be my new husband!
Hahaha! My friend was a fellow volunteer in Philadelphia, where I flew in April to canvass for Obama.

I've found that the misspelling is often usually more a problem of state incompetence than personal failure.
Finally, if he's not a good plumber, he won't be hired and the problem will be solved. If he's a good plumber, he should be able to work with or without a license. That's my personal opinion; if you notice, the ones who came out and said he wasn't licensed are from the plumbers' union and they don't want the competition. My brother is licensed as a carpenter, but he gets all sorts of dirty tricks done to him by the local carpenters' union, who won't let him in due to being full right now but don't want him to be able to get any jobs on his own, either.
If you think Joe is selfish, what about the union president who doesn't care if any other American makes money, but only if he and his union members do.
