Don't Lose Touch

Well, it seems that this guy has got himself an old fashioned date this upcoming friday. This will be the first time I've ever gone on a real date like this, and I want to do everything possible to make it go right. Even though I've only known her for a short period of time I have this feeling that I need to make this work. I mean, I've had lots of crushes in the past (and almost all of you know all too well how that ends up for me), but for the first time in my life I'm being very proactive about it. That alone kind of frightens me as I have never been proactive before in my life. Of course, that sudden change does give me a bit of confidence that I've always needed.

I just hope I don't screw it up by being boring or crude.
