Anniversary
8 years ago yesterday, we said, "I do" in a wonderfully personalized ceremony attended by some of our dearest friends and family. 8 years (and two wonderful boys!) later, we still do.
And we celebrated yesterday in true "Just Another Day in Paradise" fashion, as Joshua was sent home sick from school and then my ride (as we had taken only 1 car to work that day) left without me (though I did eventually find a ride home). So it was take-out dinner at home, which admittedly is in some ways nicer than going out. Oh, yes, and my anniversary gift to John seems delayed in the mail. Low key this year... And now the start of our ninth year married.
