Author’s Note: Part of a multi-fandom collection of drabbles, vignettes and moments inspired by the titles of Christmas songs, which are also used as the titles of the aforementioned drabbles and ficlets. These writings may or may not actually have something to do with Christmas; they were merely inspired by the song titles. I was sick over the holidays, and thus bored. This seemed like a good idea at the time.

When the young men - little more than boys, really - came to her, she tried coax their story from them. She listened carefully, not to their voices, but to what their bodies revealed. Without being aware of it, they showed her what had happened but gave no indication of who had been involved.
After learning all she could, she took the information and turned it over to someone else to fill in the blanks in their story. She almost cried when the details were revealed.
Alexx closed the drawers on the two friends, promising them they could finally rest in peace.
