the end of walltown, the beginning of what's next

Things didn't turn out the way I thought I was planning for them to turn out. I gave a lot of explanations to a lot of people about what I was doing next, about what "we" were doing next. And as it turns out, "he" came to Durham and we are here in a new house trying to figure out what to do from here. Here is Lawndale Avenue in a new neighborhood, in a familiar city that suddenly also feels almost new. Here's my farewell to the old and hello to the new. I'm just sorry these photos didn't make the cover of Vanity Fair.

To anyone who thinks I dropped off the face of the earth, I promise that I haven't, but I hope you'll forgive that I've been really bad about communication for the last few weeks/months. Despite all the change that came so so fast, it only makes sense that after many months of many questions, I feel like I can finally stop to catch my breath.
