Save Mister Rogers is an effort to convince PBS that they should now and forever air constant re-runs of a 40 year old kid's show that most of us couldn't stand to watch when the only other alternative was Captain Kangaroo and Phil Donahue. The idea is that we should all sign a petition demanding that PBS stay steadfastly out of date and out of touch with today's children.
I appreciate the sentiment, in that Mr. Rogers once worked and there were kids who might've liked it (it creeped me out), but it's time to move on. Unless there are a whole shit-load of 4 year olds signing that petition, I see no reason why PBS should bother to look at it.
