Yay spaghetti yay?

So you know how my CD/DVD player on my computer has not been working ever since I dropped it (the computer) about a month before I came to Israel? (For most of you, the answer is no, because I talk about it in real life all the time but have not actually mentioned it on LJ.) I've had a bunch of different people look at it, and they all told me that I was going to have to buy an external drive...and the repair guys said that it would cost over a thousand shekel (about $240) to fix, so I told them to forget about it, and I brought it home.
Well, yesterday, cooolcat was at my apartment, and I was out all day, so I told her she could use my computer. Anyway, when I got home, there was music playing, and I didn't notice for about ten minutes that this music was not anything that I had on the computer. So I went, "Wait a second, are you playing a CD on my computer?" all excited. And she said, "Well, you said that I could use your computer, so--" and then I cut her off and explained that the CD player had not been working in four and a half months, so how the heck did she get it to work? And she replied that she hadn't known it was supposed to be broken, so that's probably why it worked for her.
And then we watched Napolean Dynamite on DVD! And lived happily ever after.
