I started the month thinking I’d write 1000 words every day, but I didn’t take into account that I’m losing all of my “me” time at night since I go to bed now. I 'attended' Candace Havens online fast draft class. The main goal was to write 20 pages (5000 words) for 14 days in a row. I modified this for the project I'm working on to be one finished short story a day for 11 days (I didn't include the time I'd be at FenCon). I finished seven stories out of eleven. Thursday night, I found out I won the FenCon III short story contest. I was ecstatic. :-) It was hard to sleep, so I went into the FenCon weekend without any sleep padding.
