My daughter has a friend in the neighborhood, and to my dismay, said friend has a pool. One time when I was there and had told her not to go near the pool, guess what? World Fantasy Con was definitely different from FenCon. It wasn’t so much fanish fun as it was a professional gathering. I ended up chatting with an editor in the bar, and he asked who my agent was.
