Christmas debrief
I had a pretty good Christmas this year. I got a tablet (even though I told my mom not to buy me one because I'd save my own money and buy it myself), the Band From TV CD, a couple DVDs I wanted, 10 pairs of knee socks from different relatives (
), and Wall-E and Eve toys! I'm really too old for toys, but they're so darn cute! They're gonna sit on top of my desk and help me work.
Sliced my finger on Eve's plastic package, but that's beside the point.
We didn't get to see Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas Day because it keeps snowing FTW! We did get to go up yesterday. (Yesterday was the first time we actually went anywhere in a week!) Grandma keeps complaining about how the doctor "didn't do a good job" on her foot. She keeps walking on it too, so it's swollen. We tried to take her temperature, but she wouldn't keep the thermometer in her mouth. Grandpa was happy to see us, even though he said he didn't miss us, the sly old coot.
It was nice to see him.
Mom and Dad just decided to buy a new TV with the money Grandma and Grandpa gave them, so they went off to Costco. I don't think we really need one, per se, but it'll be nice.
sxechiru , audiemay, and I are making a pilgrimage to Forks, Wa on Monday, weather pending. That should be a load of fun! I haven't seen Chiru since the Hill House cast party.
Speaking of Hill House, I had a nightmare about it earlier in the week. I dreamed that there had been a mistake with the royalty payment and we could actually produce the show one more night. So we had one rehearsal and then show the next night. I could not remember my lines and my "husband" kept offering me a script, but I wouldn't take it. It was horrible!
Well, it's not snowing at the moment, but I really should get started on my homework.
