I went to the Best Buy in Downer's Grove, Illinois. I got there at 9:30 thinking there would be a big line, but I noticed only one guy. So I waited comfortably in my car until 10:30 or so and got to be second in line. People started to slowly line up until Midnight, there were about 40-50 people by the time they opened the doors.

Tomorrow I am taking the day off from work. Not only to prepare for the trip to L.A. on Friday night, but to also participate in Gamestop's Halo 3: ODST Mobile tour that will be at the Brickyard Mall, only 20 minutes from my house.

Tonight I finally got to download the NXE, after I had a conference call with the IADT Alumni Academic Committee.

So while eating dinner I hooked up my Netflix account to my Xbox. I heard there were some initial problems for people but everything worked great for me.

I still had this in my email from way back in August of 2002. This was after I bought my original XBOX and Allanman fugumaru (yes the infamous Allanman has a journal now) and I were huge HALO players, always going against each other with pistols in Hang 'Em High. Good times. Yah he kicked my ass a lot back then (not so much now).
